Crazy PR stunt of the week… The Beaver throughout history

Jodie Foster’s latest work sees her direct and star in darkly comic drama THE BEAVER, alongside Mel Gibson, and well, a beaver. Gibson’s depressed CEO, Walter, adopts a rather unorthodox approach to dealing with his affliction: a beaver puppet that never leaves his left arm – and becomes his sole mode of communication. Come the film’s June 17th theatrical release you think you’re seeing the mischievous little mammal for the first time – but we’ve had a look through the history books and discovered The Beaver has been present at many of the most important events that have shaped the world we live in. How much influence he had we can’t say, but here’s hoping he can use his experience to help Walter get back on track.
